The Root Causes Of Mass School Shootings In The United States

The United States of America is a superpower in the world. It is a superpower, so it should have excellent security within and outside its borders. US soldiers have done many great things outside of the country, but there is still an issue with internal security. The news is filled with sad stories of American youths who have lost their lives due to gunmen. A growing number of US school shootings is a security concern. This is due to a combination of factors including a lack in parental responsibility, bullying, and lax gun laws.

One of the reasons for school shootings, according to experts, is that parents fail to take responsibility. A 19-year-old entered a Florida high-school and killed 17 students. After the Florida incident, the teacher who was present spoke about what she thinks is the cause of school shootings. Kelly Guthrie a teacher, who goes by the name of Kelly Guthrie posted on social media about the growing number of school shooters. Kelly Guthrie said she was born with guns and that her parents did not engage in any negative behavior. She was terrified of doing anything wrong because her parents were so strict. She says her parents were very involved in the school and knew every thing she did. She continued to say that she was forced by her parents to obey rules, including a curfew. They controlled the house and would go into her bedroom to look through everything she owned.

Kelly’s testimony is full of wisdom. Many argue that parents of today are far too busy with their kids. Kelly’s childhood compared to the present day shows a marked difference. Others might say that the parents from the previous generation were very involved in their children’s lives. However, they may not be able to do so today as children spend most of their time at school. This argument is similar to Kelly’s, in that parents are not spending enough time with their children and have become disconnected from them. Kelly’s father and mother knew exactly where their child was every time. Kelly’s argument regarding the lack of parental authority is very valid. Parents are busy and it’s difficult to keep up with their children.

Bullying is cited as the second most common cause of school-related shootings. A recent research examined the relationship between victimization, bullying and weapons carried to school. The study examined the probability that bullying victims would carry weapons. The study found that bullying victims were twice as likely to bring weapons to school than non-victims. The study revealed that out of 16 million high-school students, 200,000 had brought a weapon with them to school. Students carrying weapons were also motivated by fighting in school and being injured or threatened at school. The study revealed that the feeling of being unsafe at school can have a wide range of effects. It is not just about feeling unsafe while at school. They also feel unsafe when they are on their way home or to school. The study also included advice for parents, teachers, and pediatricians about how to help victims of bullying.

The study gave advice to the groups mentioned above on how they can help victims of bullying. The study advises parents, teachers, and pediatricians to focus limited resources on helping victims of bullying. Students will do almost anything when they are bullied at school to give the impression that they can fight back. It is obvious that bullying is one of the reasons for students to carry a gun in school, but a question might arise as to why a mass shooting occurs when only one student has bullied another. The question that arises is why a mass shooting when only one student bullied his/her fellow student.

Third, loose gun laws may be to blame for school shootings. The protests were led by survivors of the US’s deadliest shooting. Emma Gonzales was recorded telling the camera that this would be the final shooting. She also said that she wanted to change the laws. They were determined for the change of law that would lead to gun control. One student was quoted as saying that these students will be remembered in the future news for being the generation of students that brought about change in America. The students were convinced that gun control laws are the cause of mass shootings in schools and vowed to vote for change. They wanted to get all the young people to register as voters, so the federal authorities would have to tighten up the gun laws. It would then be up to the state governments to take the initiative, against the will of Congress. Some governors also joined the rally in support of tighter gun control laws. Vermont Governor Phil Scott was one of the governors who promised to tighten gun laws.

According to the paragraph that preceded it, many people think that lax gun legislation is what has led to school shootings. Many people have argued that their children could still get guns from the shops even if their parents did their part. In order to achieve the best results, it is believed that state-sponsored goodwill should be combined with parental responsibility. In contrast, many believe that bullying victims are only a threat because of the ease with which they can access guns. Who will prevail between those calling for lax gun laws and the advocates of gun rights?

As the California wildfires continue to burn, many lives are lost. Many people blame gun control for school mass shootings. This conversation never ends when it comes to mass shootings. The busy lives of parents today are largely to blame for this social problem. They have little time to worry about their children’s welfare. Mass shootings are believed to have been caused by the frustration of bullying at school. Bullied students often turn to guns in order to get revenge. This debate will continue as long as business and politics are at its core. However, many people want to know if this debate will come to a conclusion.
